近日,新西兰奥克兰市市长Wayne Brown一行访问海南,并与海南省省长刘小明举行会谈。
Recently, Wayne Brown, Mayor of Auckland, New Zealand, visited Hainan and held talks with Hainan Governor Liu Xiaoming.

11月1日,新西兰奥克兰市市长Wayne Brown及商务代表团一行到访海口大洋洲自贸中心,并在中心主席孙赫阳 Kevin Sun 和相关负责人的陪同下参观大洋洲自贸中心的空间环境,了解运营情况,随后在中心参加午宴。
On November 1, Mayor Wayne Brown and his business delegation visited The Oceania Center in Haikou. Accompanied by the Center's Chairman, Kevin Sun, and other officials, the delegation toured the facilities, learning about the Center's operations. Following the tour, they attended a luncheon at the Center.



午宴结束后,奥克兰市市长及商务代表团一行参加了大洋洲自贸中心主办的“同行世界观-奥克兰与海南交流合作圆桌会”。
After lunch, the Auckland Mayor and his delegation attended the "Journey to Excellence - Auckland & Hainan Exchange and Cooperation Round-table Meeting" hosted by The Oceania Center.


奥克兰市长Wayne Brown上台致辞,他对大洋洲自贸中心及Kevin Sun在促进中新商贸与文化交流方面所作的卓越贡献给予高度肯定,并表示奥克兰将继续全力支持大洋洲自贸中心在中国的各项工作。他指出,奥克兰作为新西兰最大城市,拥有丰富的投资机会,尤其是在新能源产业领域,特别是与中国的合作潜力巨大。通过与大洋洲自贸中心的合作,中国企业不仅能进入新西兰市场,还能走向全球。他期待与中国企业共同探索新能源项目的合作机会,并希望深化两国文化和教育交流,以增进人民之间的了解与友谊。
Mayor Wayne Brown delivered a speech, expressing high praise for the contributions made by The Oceania Center and Kevin Sun in promoting trade and cultural exchanges between New Zealand and China. He affirmed Auckland’s continued support for the Center’s initiatives in China, highlighting Auckland's status as New Zealand’s largest city, rich in investment opportunities, especially in the new energy sector, with significant potential for cooperation with China. He emphasized that through partnership with the Center, Chinese companies could not only enter the New Zealand market but also expand globally. Mayor Brown expressed his eagerness to explore new energy projects with Chinese enterprises and hoped to deepen cultural and educational exchanges to foster mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations.

大洋洲自贸中心主席Kevin Sun致欢迎辞,并介绍大洋洲自贸中心。Kevin Sun强调了中心作为中国与新西兰之间的交流纽带,致力于推动双方经济、文化和投资合作;大洋洲自贸中心与新西兰政商界有紧密的合作关系,也得到中国政府的大力支持,希望借此促进双方企业间的交流与合作,助力中国与新西兰两国的经济发展。
Kevin Sun, Chairman of The Oceania Center, welcomed the delegation and introduced the Center, emphasizing its role as a bridge for exchanges between China and New Zealand, committed to advancing economic, cultural, and investment cooperation. He noted the Center’s strong relationships with both New Zealand’s political and business circles and the support it receives from the Chinese government, aiming to enhance exchanges and collaboration between enterprises in both countries to further economic development in China and New Zealand.

海口国际投资促进局曹阳部长发言分享,他强调了海南自贸港作为连接中国与大洋洲乃至更广泛国际市场的自贸中心的战略地位,还详细介绍了海口市的发展潜力和优势。
Cao Yang, Director of the Haikou International Investment Promotion Bureau, spoke on Hainan Free Trade Port’s strategic position as a hub connecting China, Oceania, and broader international markets. He also detailed Haikou’s growth potential and advantages.
大洋洲自贸中心全球合伙人/节能双碳板块负责人Neo Zhang、大洋洲自贸中心文化教育板块负责人Hanry Han分别介绍分享中心的相关业务,探讨与奥克兰以及新西兰的更多合作机会。
Neo Zhang, Global Partner and Head of the Carbon Neutrality Subcenter; and Hanry Han, Head of the Culture and Education Division, each provided insights into the Center’s operations, exploring further cooperation opportunities with Auckland and New Zealand.

此次“同行世界观——奥克兰与海南交流合作圆桌会”作为“同行世界观”系列活动的一部分,组织新西兰奥克兰市市长及商务代表团来到海南,与本地的政府和企业代表进行面对面的沟通交流,旨在发挥大洋洲自贸中心作为国际交流纽带的积极作用,践行中新两国领导人达成的合作共识,宣传海南自贸港名片。我们期待此次的会谈后续转化成实际合作成果,促进两地的文化交流以及跨国投资合作。
As part of the “Journey to Excellence” series, this “Auckland & Hainan Exchange and Cooperation Round-table Meeting” brought Mayor Wayne Brown and the Auckland business delegation to Hainan to engage in face-to-face discussions with local government and business representatives. The event underscored The Oceania Center’s role as a bridge for international exchanges, aimed at implementing the cooperation consensus reached between the leaders of China and New Zealand, and promoting the Hainan Free Trade Port. We look forward to seeing these discussions translate into concrete collaborative outcomes, advancing cultural exchanges and cross-border investment cooperation between the two regions.
